If you decide to stay on the Strip, make sure your children are comfortable with this type of atmosphere, and consider hiring a babysitter if possible. If you’re staying at a hotel off the Strip, chances are they will be less likely to offer and advertise adult shows. Plus, they’re generally quieter and cheaper than their casino-heavy counterparts on the Strip.
Las Vegas is called the Entertainment Capital of the World for a reason. There are many shows that are ideal for the whole family. Have your kids cheer on their knights at Excalibur’s Tournament of Kings, watch their eyes widen as they take in the sights of Mystere by Cirque du Soleil at Treasure Island, or boogie down to the Jabbawockeez at MGM Grand. And don’t forget to visit the Aquarium at the Silverton Hotel, which features a 117,000-gallon aquarium filled with thousands of tropical fish, three species of stingrays, and mermaids. And finally, your kids will love to pose with their favorite celebrities and characters at Madame Tussauds.
